Can my mom carry a lighted make up mirror in her carry on? - lighted make up mirror
My mother travels by plane. She says she can not see, make-up put on, if it is not enabled extended super mirror. It is 12 "x 7" x 3 "and a string. She wants to know if you set it in your hand luggage. Those who know the rules? Thanks in advance.

Do not understand why not, no restrictions on lighting and light-up mirror. This is certainly not on the list of prohibited items:
