When a charger for NiMH or NiCd, this is not done to recharge alkaline batteries. The leakage of the battery, or more likely to explode. It would probably ruin her charger. Recharge alkaline batteries in a completely different team NiMH and NiCd batteries. This means do not only cause a mess.
